This beautiful cards game is an reinterpretation in watercolor by artist Diane Georges of the traditional Japanese game “Hanafuda“.
The hanafuda, literally “flower cards”, is a complete game system allowing many games (the most common of which are Koï-koï and Hana-awase). Easy to carry given its small size and its handmade storage pouch, and very resilient thanks to the tear-resistant Robuskin paper, it will follow you everywhere. Perfect for a small game with friends while waiting for the train or the meal.
Magnificent gift for lovers of Japanese culture and space.
Dimension: 7.8 cm x 5 cm
Materials: Robuskin paper (PET), cotton (pocket)
The set includes: 1 deck of cards (48 cards+ 2 jokers), a colored cotton pocket, and a QR code to download the PDF of the rules and the individual presentation of each card. PDF available in French and English.
Note: the color of the pouch is only an indication of preference. Color may not be available. In this case, a shade as close as possible will be provided to you.
A little hard to learn which card is which first, but thoses cards are too beautiful! They are nice and strudy.
When I could’nt figure which card is which, the answer was fast and clear. Good service too.
Thank you !

Très original! Ça peut être assez difficile de reconnaître les différents mois, mais on s’y fait après quelques parties. J’ai très apprécié la façon dont les rubans ont été remplacés. Très belle découverte!
